"Forest 6" Vessel Carrying 200 LPG Containers Makes Historic First Call at Black Cape Port

        On November 15, 2024, against the grand backdrop of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC), our cooperation with Africa reached a historic breakthrough. On this day, the "Forest 6" vessel, carrying 200 LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) containers, slowly docked at Black Cape Port on the African continent, marking the official start of our company’s deepening presence in the African market.This significant moment not only witnessed the deepening of China-Africa energy cooperation but also injected new momentum into building a closer China-Africa community with a shared future.

       On November 15, 2024, the "Forest 6" made its maiden call at Black Cape Port. We, along with our comprehensive strategic partners, witnessed this important historical moment together!

       It is worth mentioning that throughout the process of advancing this project, our group has always placed great emphasis on cooperation and communication with the governments and enterprises of African countries. Through multiple on-site visits and in-depth discussions, we gained a deeper understanding of Africa’s energy needs and market characteristics, and formulated practical and feasible cooperation plans. At the same time, our group has actively established partnerships with local enterprises and social organizations to jointly promote the implementation and development of the project. This mutually beneficial cooperation model not only helps improve the efficiency and quality of project execution but also further strengthens the friendship and cooperation between China and Africa.

      It is understood that the LPG containers being shipped to Africa will support the development of local clean energy. As a clean and efficient energy source, LPG plays a significant role in promoting the energy structure transformation of African countries. For a long time, Africa has faced challenges such as weak energy infrastructure and insufficient power supply, which have severely impacted local economic development and improvements in people's livelihoods. Our company’s transshipment of LPG within the African continent will not only help alleviate the energy shortage in African countries but also provide them with more environmentally friendly and sustainable energy solutions.

       Looking back on the preparation process over the past few months, we overcame numerous difficulties and challenges. From project research and design to ship scheduling and material procurement, every step reflected the hard work and wisdom of our team. In particular, when addressing the complex issues in the transportation process, we demonstrated the ability to respond efficiently and make quick decisions. This pragmatic and proactive work style, along with a sense of responsibility, has provided strong support for the smooth progress of the project.

       Looking ahead, we will continue to uphold the philosophy of "sincerity, friendship, and mutual benefit" and the correct view of righteousness and interests, further deepening our cooperation with African countries in the energy sector. The company plans to expand its investment in Africa over the next few years, promoting the successful implementation and growth of more quality projects on the continent.
